Track 108 ambulance in real time

Tamil Nadu 108 ambulance network will now allow users to track 108 ambulance via app or sms. The newly launched app 'Avasaram 108 Tamil Nadu' app can be used to track ambulance. It automatically assigns the nearest ambulance, show vehicle details, and provide estimated time of arrival along with tracking. Furthermore, it lists the nearby Hospitals, blood banks. People can also get tracking link via sms once they contact the 108 ambulance network.

Currently, there are around 1350 ambulances in service (70 in Chennai) handling more than 5000 emergencies per day. This move by the Tamil Nadu 108 ambulance network has received widespread good responses and some call this 'A revolutionary upgrade in emergency services'.
