Nanganallur Ladies Association Celebrates Bharathiyar’s 143rd Birth Anniversary

The Nanganallur Ladies Association celebrated the 143rd birth anniversary of Mahakavi Bharathiyar with students of P.M.S. Matriculation School. The event featured speech, essay, and poetry competitions for children. Prizes were distributed to all winners as well as participants. Students dressed as Bharathiyar performed songs and dances, adding colour and excitement to the celebration.

The programme was organised by NLA members Dr. Subha Ravisankar, Mrs. Kanchana Raman, and Mrs. Bhanumathi Raghavan. Senior members Mrs. Saroj Ramani, Mrs. Dhanalakshmi Narasimhan, Mrs. Prema Sundararajan, Mrs. Lavanya Ramesh, Mrs. Chamundeeswari, Mrs. Parimala, Mrs. Jayanthi Satheesh, and Mrs. Sumathi took part and distributed prizes to the children.

The Nanganallur Ladies Association extended heartfelt thanks to the Tamil teacher, the staff members, and the school administration for their support in making the event a success.
