Nanganallur Hosts Its First-Ever Women’s Cricket Tournament at Lakshmi Nagar Playground
Women's cricket shines in Nangnallur as the Tournament approaches its grand finale today evening.
In a historic first for Nanganallur, a women’s cricket tournament is being conducted today at Lakshmi Nagar Playground, organized by Champion Atheletic and Fitness club along with Mr. N Chandran (Zone 12 Alandur - Chairman, Ms. Durga Devi Natarajan (Councillor - Ward 167) and Mr. Natarajan. Adding to the excitement, the councillor herself is participating as a player, making this event even more special.
With 6 to 7 teams competing, the tournament has seen enthusiastic participation from local women. Many women enthusiastically joined the tournament, forming teams among themselves and displaying their cricketing skills. The matches have been ongoing since morning, with the semi-finals and finals set to take place this evening (Starts from 4:30pm).
