How Nanganallur Welcomed the New Year with Anjaneyar

The Anjaneya Temple in Nanganallur witnessed a significant turnout of devotees on New Year Day, with long queues forming from the early hours as people gathered to begin the year with prayers. Along the queue route, temporary stalls and shops came up on both sides, offering a variety of items including flowers, fruits, pooja essentials, snacks, bangles, plants, and other festive purchases. Despite the heavy crowd, the movement of devotees remained smooth, allowing many to have a comfortable darshan. The combination of organised queue management and the festive environment helped devotees navigate the long wait with ease.
