Game on! Women's Throwball Tournament Takes Centre Stage in Nanganallur

Nanganallur is gearing up for an exciting weekend of sports and community celebration as the Women's Throwball Tournament 2025 takes place on April 5th and 6th (Saturday & Sunday). The event is organized by Pinnacle Sports Club and Lakshmi Nagar Sports Club, Nanganallur. The Tournament is set to bring in some exciting action and people are encouraged to come out and cheer for the local women that compete.

The matches will be held at 7th Street Playground, Lakshmi Nagar, Nanganallur, with play scheduled for 7am to 10am and 3pm to 8pm on both days. The final match is set for Sunday, April 6th at 5 PM, followed by a cultural program at 5:30 PM performed by the students of Hindu Colony Chellammal Vidyalaya School, and prize distribution at 6 PM.

As part of the event’s celebrations, a Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Mr. K. Srinivasan, Headmaster of AJS Nidhi Higher Secondary School, Alandur, honoring his decades of service in education.
