Free Medical Camp in Nanganallur See Strong Participation and Community Support

A well-attended Free Mega Basic Healthcare Camp was conducted on Sunday, 11th May 2025, at Independence Day Park, 6th Main Road, Nanganallur. Organized with the goal of serving the local community, the camp drew participation from hundreds of residents, who availed various medical checkups including blood pressure, BMI, sugar tests, and more.

Among the distinguished attendees were Thiru N. Chandran, Hon'ble Zonal Chairman of Zone 12 (Alandur) and Councillor of Ward 166, Tmt. Durga Devi Natarajan, Councillor of Ward 167, and Thiru J. Natarajan, Secretary, DMK, Ward 167. The leaders personally interacted with attendees, appreciating the effort put in by volunteers and sponsors.

The event was spearheaded by the Lets Feed the Needy group, with support from Mangladeepam, Anderson Diagnostics & Labs, and GEM Hospital. Lets Feed the Needy played a central role in planning and executing the initiative, with their ongoing commitment to health and welfare clearly visible through the seamless conduct of the camp.

Thiru N. Chandran also underwent health screening and later distributed free spectacles to select individuals, ensuring that the outreach extended tangible help to those who needed it. Photos are attached below!

GEM Hospital conducted a simultaneous special gastro camp at the same venue, offering consultations for stomach, liver, kidney, hernia, and women's health issues.
