Once finished, these upgraded drains are expected to ensure smoother water flow and help avoid flooding during the upcoming monsoon season. Both of these areas fall under Ward 167. These civic efforts are taking place under Ward 167, represented by Councillor Ms. Durga Devi Natarajan and Ward Secretary Mr. Natarajan along with Zone 12 Chairman (Alandur) Mr. Chandran.
