Cyber Crime Awareness Programme to be held in Nanganallur

The Senior Citizens Forum, Nanganallur, is organising a Cyber Crime Awareness Programme on Saturday, 24 January 2026, at 6.00 PM. The programme will be held at Doraraj Castle, 3rd Street, Lakshmi Nagar, Nanganallur. (Official Invite attached below)

Mrs. K. Usharani, Inspector of Police, Cyber Crime Wing, Greater Chennai Police (Vepery), will attend as the Chief Guest. The awareness session will focus on various cyber frauds such as Digital Arrest scams, Online Investment scams, Online Trading scams, Matrimonial scams, and other emerging cyber crimes. The programme aims to educate senior citizens and the general public on identifying and preventing such frauds.

The programme will be presided over by T. M. Sampath, President of the Senior Citizens Forum, with a welcome address by T. N. Srinivasan. V. Rama Rao, President of the Federation of Senior Citizen Associations of Tamil Nadu, will deliver the keynote address. The vote of thanks will be delivered by A. K. Narayanan.
