Chennai Airport Introduces Budget-Friendly Udan Yatri Café

Chennai International Airport has introduced the UDAN Yatri Café, a new dining option aimed at providing travelers with affordable and hygienic refreshments. Located in the pre-check-in area of the T1 domestic terminal, this café ensures that passengers have access to budget-friendly food items before proceeding through security.

The café was inaugurated by Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Ram Mohan Naidu, reflecting the government's commitment to enhancing passenger amenities at airports nationwide.

Following the positive reception of the first UDAN Yatri Café at Kolkata Airport in December, plans are underway to expand this initiative to other major airports, including Delhi. This expansion aims to make air travel more accessible and comfortable by offering reasonably priced food options to passengers across the country.
