Speaking about the initiative, the founder Gayathri Subramanian shared that around 100 children from Nanganallur are taking part in this year’s programme. She emphasised that this is not a competition, and there will be no winners or rankings.

"All participating children will receive certificates and gifts as a token of encouragement. The gifts include saving piggy banks with Mahaperiyava photos, notebooks, sketch pens, and other learning-related items. The intention is to instill positive habits, creativity, and cultural awareness among children in a joyful manner."

Sharing her perspective on Bharatiya Kala Vaibhavam, Gayathri Subramanian also said that programmes like Guru Dhyanam play an important role in nurturing cultural consciousness among children. She emphasised that the initiative focuses on guiding children towards Indian art, thought, and values without pressure or competition, allowing them to learn through observation, reflection, and participation. With its focus on culture, values, and inclusivity, Bharathiya Kala Vaibhavam stands out as an effort to create a thoughtful cultural space for children in Nanganallur.
