7th Foundation Day of CGHS Beneficiaries Association to Focus on Senior Citizens’ Welfare

The All India CGHS Beneficiaries Welfare Association (CBWAI) will celebrate its 7th Foundation Day and Annual Meet on August 1st and 2nd, 2025 at the Defence Auditorium, V V K Mandapam, HVF Estate, Avadi, Chennai.

This annual gathering brings together over 200 outstation delegates, including retired officers from prestigious services like IAS, IRS, IPS, and IOFS, alongside nearly 200 CGHS beneficiaries from Chennai.

The function will be graced by distinguished guests including Shri Senthil Kumar, IAS, Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, as the Special Guest, and Shri Sanjay Dwivedi, NDC, IOFS, CMD, AVNL Group of Factories, Ministry of Defence, as the Chief Guest.

Speaking about the meet, Dr. Dilip Ganguly, IOFS (Retd.), President, CBWAI said, “We are delighted to celebrate our 7th Foundation Day and look forward to interacting with our members and dignitaries.”

T K Damodaran, General Secretary, CBWAI, added, “This event is a testament to our commitment to the welfare of CGHS beneficiaries across India.”

The two-day programme will include informative discussions on senior citizens’ healthcare and CGHS welfare schemes, along with cultural programmes and special felicitation ceremonies.

Although the event is being held in Avadi - which is some distance from Nanganallur - it could still be valuable for local senior citizens and CGHS beneficiaries who wish to learn more, participate in discussions, and connect directly with senior officials and fellow members.
